Olivia Burke realised something was wrong when staff were continually in touch with their IT support company but the volume of issues never seemed to waiver. It was time for change and, after posing the question of whom to speak to, Olivia was referred to LeetGeek by one of our happy clients.

/ The Issue

After performing an initial audit of the existing infrastructure, it soon became very apparent why Burke Urban had been experiencing so many problems: the small business server had not been configured properly. To make matters worse, a number of the email features were not even enabled. On mentioning this to Olivia, LeetGeek learned that she had been informed that, if enabled, they would slow down delivery of email. Not only was this incorrect, it was the exact opposite of the truth!

/ The Solution

LeetGeek then set about fixing the poor configuration and enabling the missing features on the server. Once the issues had been addressed, Olivia was keen to keep things running smoothly and agreed to the regular monthly maintenance which has kept the network worry-free to this day.

Since the initial introduction, LeetGeek has continued to advise Burke Urban on all aspects of IT. When the company took over an additional floor to cope with its growth, the aesthetics of the new reception area were key. There’s no doubt that Apple products are leaders in realm of product design and there was no surprise when the request to use an iMac came in. Integrating the Apple operating system into the Windows environment was unnecessary in this instance, so Windows was simply installed on the iMac and it was joined to the network in the same manner as any other PC.
